Great to show grandkids
It’s so cool
I am really enjoying this app. Thanks for developing it.
It’s good but works at day time🥺🐣🧘🏼♀️ ⭐️🌏🌙🌒🌞❄️❄️❄️
Makes finding stars and constellations easier and more fun.
Won’t launch on my iPhone 11 or screen stays frozen
I love this app. It’s so nice to know my place in the universe. Going for a walk at night is so much more interesting.
I first got this after guiding a friend to stars we’d named in memory of his cats after a 2nd death. But it is incredibly useful when examining night sky when partly obscured. This month I was outside my home and saw a neighbour clearly looking at stars and after a brief discussion she excitedly added the app, opening up a world to her for which she was grateful. Love the app!!
Works out of the box each time, every time. Superb app
I was looking for a simple easy to use app to find the constellations and this one is it! Others I’ve tried were too complicated but with OSR I just scan my iPad over the sky and it identifies both the stars and the constellations. Very happy with this app!
Everybody I show this app to has to get it. Cjchumbo
I love this app! Perfect for learning the constellations! Must have!
Enjoyable, the one thing I would really like is to be able to select what I’m looking for ie Little Dipper and have it show where it is without the rest of the universe getting in the way. Smile
Thank you so much it’s an amazing app that I shared with everyone I know. It’s a fantastic tool to teach my children and grand children the wonderful experience of star gazing talk about Quilty Famley time and education that’s passed down three generations. Thank you so much
Have used other similar apps. Thought to try this one out of curiosity. This one is difficult to use, difficult to read accurately. Done trying to figure out and fix.
I get lost on this app!
Ffggg
The app keeps freezing and doesn’t open, even after uninstalling and reinstalling
Download the app and nothing is happening?
Amazing how I can even be in doors, point my tablet upwards and it moves to the part of the sky where the stars are.
I don’t know how to freeze it so I can review it.
This was a gift and I haven’t been able to use it since I got it last summer because the app gets stuck on the Leo constellation and does this ticking motion. I’m very disappointed.
Don't get me wrong, this is a very cool app. I registered a star in 2017 for my wife and soon after I was able to go outside and use my iPhone 7 Plus to aim it at the night sky and find the star. We had a ball playing with the app. This app is of little use in locating specific stars as recognized by astronomers. And if you loose your code, it’s “Mission Impossible” in getting the developer to help you retrieve it. After you give this developer your hard-earned-cash, it’s as if the developer goes “Missing In Action” The developer (located in the Netherlands) offers NO HELP in assisting customers after you give them your money. Please note, this “named star” is only recognized by OSR’s app and no real authority. Long story made short, this is a fun app, but if you buy a new cell phone and reload this app, the code OSR sends you becomes invalid, and OSR had robbed you of $54. Odious Shoddy Rubbish (Thieves In The Night”sky”)
I give it a 1 star because it costs $54 to name your own star. But I give it a 5 star because it’s a cool app.
On April 29, 2019 my bestfriend was in a car crash, and it was fatal. My bestfriend died and on her 1 year anniversary weeks leading to it I was a mess I couldn’t get out of bed and I couldn’t stop crying. I miss her every single day. And my husband, named a star after her to keep her alive for me. Whenever I’m sad now I pull up her star and I can find her and remember she’s always watching over me. This was the most sentimental gift I have ever gotten in my 26 years of life. Thank you for making this a possibility. This meant everything to me and I look for her star every night.
I just download it and found a very exciting experience. I love to see the stars and now I can even give a name for my beloved ones. So happy with it.
👍
I've been having an awesome time with this app and I love it my teacher told us about it so I downloaded it and I love it I think you should continue to make Awesome apps like this❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love this app. I stumbled on it when I was watching a movie. I recently purchased a star for my boyfriend. Never did that before. I plan on purchasing stars for me 3 children their significant others and a few more for my adopted kids. It’s amazing and an ever lasting gift of love. Their star will always be even when the parties are not. Forever remembered!
This app is ridiculously inaccurate. I’m facing south and it has north to the right of me. I love astronomy and really wanted to be able to use this to track constellations while I’m on the beach. Saddening.
Pennsylvania; almost always cloudy. I sit on my porch and find the stars above me. Keeps me centered in the universe.
I like the app but it would be better if we could search what we want to find 😁
This app is the perfect choice for field spotting constellations and stars. I highly recommend this app for class demos involving a telescope. Great for proximal placement of scopes referencing the North Star. 👍👍👍👍👍
Excellent gift to give your loved ones!!!!
Wish my screen was bigger thank you
Pretty cool little app and is actually pretty knowledgeable and creates an opportunity for you to learn more about astronomy.
Don’t let the letters get smaller when I try to read them.
I find this app very good and enjoy using it at night. I wish it had a locate function so I could quickly find planets.
I wanted to know the name of a star. I searched App Store for “star finder”. This came up. I wasted my time: It only does constellations.
This app allows me to find planets, stars, and constellations. I always get excited finding where certain things are in the sky. As someone who enjoys a quiet night, this app really lets me have fun.
I like the red night vision setting. Some things could use clear labeling like the moon and sun. Good free app for the armchair skywatcher.
Hi OSR, I love it, smart move in sequence of display stars, the shape of the constellations followed by their drawings. Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to all involved. This ideal for getting young ones interested in the night sky and what isn’t seen will be later.
This app is cool, but I thought you put it at the sky and saw the stars and the sky that night. Well, I could look at the ground and see constellations. Basically the app was a bunch of constellations put tighter so where ever you looked you saw them. I was very disappointed.
Full of fun images and starscapes!
Good graphics on the screen. But doesn't match the sky. It's about taking your money to name a nonexistent star that's already been named dozens/ hundreds of times.
Stellar graphics, interface and an overall superb app.
Has cool features but all that is lost when I realized it's inaccurate as hell. It has the moon in the absolute opposite side of the sky. The moon is full tonight so it's totally obvious
I love star gazing and this app is perfect for it. Especially on cloudy days or you don't want to go outside in the cold weather, you can see the constellations without any trouble and it's clear. I only took away one star because with the pictures on the constellation you can't see the lines or the stars clearly. (Sorry this was long)
This app crashes quite often. But unlike some of the other celestial viewing apps, it allows users to move viewing areas without any hiccups. Great job on that. Maybe less focus on constellations and more research on comet tracking. That would be nice.
